Amy S. Holt
Amy Holt is drawn to great textures and patterns and often begins her creative process with their many interpretations in fabric. Having graduated magna cum laude from Antonelli College, Amy kicked off her design career 14 years ago and started collecting awards right away. Since 2003 alone she has designed more than 20 Homearama, Lifestyle, and Citirama homes, and won first-place recognition from Cincinnati Magazine, as the Peoples' Choice, and as the creator of the favorite interior design of 2009. She continues her artistry today with a portfolio of creative interiors that are warm and cozy. As one of seven children and the founder of Designs on Madison, Amy is most comfortable with compromise and uniquely qualified to integrate a client’s ideas, wants, and needs into design that carries them beyond what they ever dreamed possible.
Jill Koch, an Interior Design graduate of the College of Mount Saint Joseph, begins every project focused on functionality to ultimately create an attractively-rendered finished space. She frames each project with her client’s needs and desires in mind, and brings them to life with the patterns, textures, and colors that inspire her. With more than six years of interior design experience, Jill keeps her skills sharp and inspiration cutting edge by forecasting trends and staying current on new products in the industry. She specializes in residential and commercial design and is happy to assist with project management of everything from new home construction, single-room redesigns, to entire-home makeovers.
Shannon Conley graduated magna cum laude from Cincinnati's Antonelli College as an Associate of Applied Business in Interior Design. She describes herself as dependable and believes wholeheartedly about design, “it’s not just about how it looks, but how it makes you feel.”
Shannon is inspired by nature, art, music, architecture, and the people around her. Her imagination is triggered by textiles, texture, and color, but most enjoys unrestrained brainstorming. While her goal is always to balance the functionality and practicality of design with pleasing aesthetics, she often begins with seemingly nonsensical ideas on the way to designing a perfect marriage of comfort, timelessness, and excitement.
Cindy Crawford is delighted to have joined Cincinnati's Designs on Madison, and is quite proud to bring along with her 14 years of personal design history with the award-winning June Surber & Associates. Cindy’s design goal is always to consider carefully the needs and lifestyles of her clients and to outfit their spaces with the best furnishings and interior details. In masterfully incorporating textures, colors, and drama, she strives to touch emotions by using the unexpected. Cindy believes firmly that desirable design may be achieved at all price points, and that many design mistakes could be avoided by consulting with a designer from the start of a project.
Jo Fentress, Allied Member ASID, began her career in Dallas over 30 years ago, and continued it in the best design firms in Cincinnati. She proudly identifies herself as “director” of the creative design process, and takes seriously the taste, personality, and lifestyle of each client. Jo is dedicated to the classic styles and timeless designs that best reflect her clients, and feels strongly that even the most formal spaces should be comfortable and relaxing.
With the ultimate goal always being an aesthetically surprised and pleased client, Jo begins the creative process with a clear understanding of a space’s intended use. A focal point is established – artwork, furniture, a rug, some spectacular fabric – and this directs the color palette. From there, Jo taps into color that draws her and the inspiration she takes from rooms that appear collected, not decorated, the families who will enjoy her spaces, the texture and color of fabrics, personal spaces tailored to individuals, and the finishing touch that is accessories. The end result is a winning design often achieved by having followed an unexpected path.
Most important to Jo are her family (especially her four grandchildren), her friends, her faith, and her passion for God’s Word.
